Mission Trips

Pastor Jesse Barrett carries a strong passion for missions, both at home and abroad, and he is actively involved in leading and participating in strategic outreaches that bring the Gospel to people in very different settings. His ministry is marked by a desire to see lives transformed by the love of Christ and to equip others to walk in their God-given calling through hands-on service, evangelism, and discipleship.

       Each year, Pastor Jesse oversees and attends trips to Honduras, where teams partner with local pastors and congregations of ICCI (Iglesia Comunidad Cristiana Internacional) to strengthen the Church. These trips include pastor conferences, ministering in churches, and the planting and dedication of new churches. Teams also minister to children through community events, creating opportunities for entire families to encounter the presence of God. Beyond the spiritual ministry, the teams also provide practical support, resources, and encouragement to pastors and believers who are faithfully serving in their communities.

       Pastor Jesse also helps lead teams to New Orleans during Mardi Gras, one of the largest and most colorful street festivals in the United States. In the midst of the crowds, the mission is simple yet powerful—share the love of Jesus Christ with those who are often searching for joy and fulfillment in all the wrong places. Through prayer, one-on-one conversations, street evangelism, and worship, teams shine the light of Christ in an atmosphere that desperately needs hope and truth. Many people have encountered God in life-changing ways during these outreaches, proving that where darkness abounds, grace abounds even more.

       Another key outreach Pastor Jesse oversees is to the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming, home to Native American communities that face unique challenges. The teams come alongside Foundation for Nations Ministry to provide encouragement, prayer, and practical support, while building genuine relationships with individuals and families. Through community outreach, children's ministry, and sharing the Gospel, the heart of the mission is to bring the healing love of Christ to a people who are deeply valued by God.

These mission trips reflect Pastor Jesse's conviction that the Great Commission is not an option but a calling. Whether serving in Central America, on the streets of New Orleans, or among Native communities in Wyoming, he believes that the Church is called to be the hands and feet of Jesus—bringing good news, offering hope, and demonstrating the power of God's love in word and deed. Through these experiences, not only are lives transformed in the places visited, but the team members themselves return home with a renewed passion to live boldly for Christ in their everyday lives.
