Pastor Jesse Barrett

       Based in Naples, Florida, Pastor Jesse Barrett serves as the compassionate and dedicated Pastoral Care Pastor at New Hope Ministries, where he offers spiritual guidance, emotional support, and encouragement to the community. His heart for helping others grow in their faith is evident in the nurturing and empathetic way he approaches ministry.

       Jesse has been a part of New Hope since he was just three weeks old, with the exception of a few teenage years spent in Oklahoma and Colorado. As the son of Greg and Tica Barrett, who were worship pastors at New Hope from 1992 to 2006, he grew up immersed in ministry and discovered at an early age that God had placed a calling on his life. Over the years, he has become passionate about guiding believers into a deeper understanding of their authority in Christ and the transformative power of God's grace.

       He is a graduate of the New Hope School of Ministries, completing both the first and second years, which he considers one of the greatest decisions a person can make aside from salvation itself. He also studied at Charis Bible College from 2021 to 2023, further strengthening his theological foundation. His commitment to learning reflects his desire to serve with wisdom, humility, and excellence.

       Beyond his role at New Hope, Pastor Jesse serves on the School Advisory Committee for East Naples Middle School and sits on the boards of Beverly's Angels, Leave the 99 Ministries International, and Crossfire Ministries International. These opportunities allow him to extend his ministry beyond the church walls and into the heart of the community.

       Pastor Jesse is blessed with a wonderful family: his beautiful wife, Abbigail, whom he married on January 9, 2016, and their talented daughter, Kaylee. Together they share a strong partnership in faith and life. In his free time, Jesse enjoys making memories with family and friends, watching movies, reading, and savoring good food.

       The scripture that anchors his life is Proverbs 19:21: "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." This verse has been a guiding principle for both his personal walk and his ministry. Whether in church, counseling sessions, or community outreach, Pastor Jesse Barrett is passionate about creating a welcoming and loving environment where people can encounter the presence of God and be transformed by His love.
